Investment Bankers (Analyst through Managing Director level)
Description
WestPark Capital, Inc. is a premier boutique investment bank, dedicated to the emerging growth sector since 1997. We serve institutional and high net-worth investors and are seeking experienced Investment Bankers (Analyst through Managing Director level) with origination experience in the micro / small-cap Life Sciences and TMT Sector.
Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of this position would be typical of an experienced client facing / transaction originating investment banker including:
- Originating corporate finance and advisory transactions.
- Research companies and industries. Cover the given universe of companies.
- Perform financial analysis, due diligence, management team interviews, spreadsheet modeling, etc.
- Prepare and produce commitment committee memos and present transactions for review and approval
- Produce relative valuation comparisons that can support investment recommendations
- Attend industry conferences and develop a professional network of corporate and trade contacts within your industry sector
- Set up and host deal and non-deal roadshows, conference calls and headquarters visits for institutional clients with companies within your coverage universe and industry sector
Requirements
The following are the minimum requirements for the position:
- Investment Banking transaction origination experience at the senior or associate level.
- Deep understanding of company fundamentals, accounting and corporate finance concepts
- Ability to deliver clear/concise advisory services
- Have an in-depth understanding of factors that affect company and industry fundamentals
- Must demonstrate superior quantitative and analytical skills, and a propensity to be “hands on” and detail oriented
- Strong spreadsheet modeling skills
- Series 7, 63, 79 licenses
