Jason (Jay) Stern has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and is committed to exceeding the highest of standards for WestPark Capital in all area’s including compliance, professionalism, and client / partner service.

Mr. Stern possesses a depth of experience across a range of financial institutions prior to joining the team. Previously Branch Manager (Santa Monica and Beverley Hills) at Global Capital Securities, Mr. Stern led a group of more than 60 personnel, including 50 financial advisors and 10 support staff. Responsibilities involved operational management across both locations, successfully coordinating several corporate finance transactions, and providing full-service brokerage for established clients. 

Mr. Stern was also President of Beverly Hills Capital, Inc., where he was responsible for a number of projects including the merger and acquisition of three independently-owned boutique investment banking franchises. During this time, he also developed and trained more than 100 registered stockbrokers. In 1989, Mr. Stern began his career in the financial services sector, starting out with the Boston-based firm, Gruntal & Company. His background also encompasses an outstanding track record of results as a broker at several premier firms. One of which was at Prudential Securities, where he was a Vice President at their flagship Beverly Hills office. In 1997, Mr. Stern transitioned within the sector to take up management and business development roles.  He joined WestPark in 1999 as COO.

Mr. Stern holds qualifications from Northeastern University and Boston University, both of which focused in the disciplines of economics and finance. Mr. Stern holds Series 7, 24, and 63 registrations.
